B. In the
second degree Reiki course a student is enabled to treat patients
with deep ingrained problems like depressions, phobias, addictions
etc. A second initiation is performed and knowledge of three symbols
is provided and the 'Reiki channel is opened much wider.
C. In the
third degree a third initiation is performed and a student becomes
a Reiki master, he is taught how to initiate students. He is provided
a further knowledge of the symbols and is declared competent to teach
Reiki himself.
Reiki is
not a religion, there are no dogmas, it is a purely spiritual device
of tapping universal life force energy for the purpose of healing.
Reiki was
claimed to have been rediscovered by 'Mikao Usui' a Japanese Tendasi
Buddhist, as mystical revelations.
Usui trained
many disciples and through them the Reiki system got branched off
with little deviations in the techniques and ideologies of the practitioners.
